Grocery store deals, coupons, and sales have cycles based on seasonal demand. In June, sales and coupon availability are driven by obvious factors such as hot weather and holidays (Father's Day and the Fourth of July). June sales are also driven by lesser known factors such as National Dairy Month.
Look for these sales and promotions in the month of June:
June Produce--Summer produce is in season so look for rock bottom prices on Apricots, Blackberries, Blueberries, Boysenberries, Cherries, Corn, Cucumber, Eggplant, Grapes, Honeydew, Nectarines, Peaches, Potatoes, Raspberries, Red Onions, Squash, Summer, Strawberries, Sweet Vidalia Onions, Tomatoes, Peppers, Tomatillos, Herbs, Watermelon, and other summer favorites. Salad dressings are also on sale this month.
Summer Promotions--Look for Father's Day and 4th of July sales and promotions on the following: Grilling items, condiments, meat for the grill, chips, ice cream, hot dog and hamburger buns, soda, paper goods, sunscreen, bug repellent, grilling equipment and charcoal, pools, swim toys, and more.
National Dairy Month--Look for month long deals on milk, eggs (not dairy but promoted during this month), cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy products. Promotions begin June 1 and last all month.
